The Marquis of Lorne
The Marquis of Lorne is part of a treasured set of Fitzroy back-street pubs known for their laid back atmosphere and local appeal. Keeping mindful of this cultural context, the restoration comprises of a series of small moves aimed at refreshing but not reinventing the pub. Finishes and furniture have been updated, building loosely on the ideology of the local pub and the eclectic past of the venue.
